REDUCTION OF CO2 POLUTION AND THE DAILY CHORES – THAT IS HEALTHY ECONOMY!
Laundry has an environmental impact, as a lot of water is used and polluted during each wash.
A lot of energy is used for
- Heating of water up to between 60 – 90 degrees
- Tumble drying
3 areas of saving by using the Swaddle:
- Streamlining working hours
- Emission of CO2 is 8 times less by using the Swaddle compared to regular linnen
- Daily expenses for regular linnen exceeds the price of NMD Care’s single use product per day.
“For one kilo of cotton it is estimated that the emission of CO2 is about 40 kilos when you take the whole production chain into consideration, while the emission is about 5 kilos of CO2 for one kilo of polyester”

ENVIRONMENTAL CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE BABY WATERNEST®
The Baby WaterNest® is made of PUR & TPU-foil, these materials are currently not recyclable. The correct disposal method is therefore secure incineration at public environmentally approved waste incineration plants, where the material is converted into energy.
The Plasic branch is currently working on development of of recycling the materials and NMD Care is following the development though the sub-contractors.
The Baby WaterNest® packaging is made of recycled cardboard and it is recommended to be disposed of for recycling.
